在淡水河上念情詩

我帶著愛從亞穆納河來

我沒有任何資產
也沒有任何綾羅綢緞給妳
但我有愛情的純心
包含許多悲傷和淚水
只能與你共享！

費十二年才到妳跟前！

在黃昏安靜時刻……
群鳥回巢
魚迴遊
太陽即將西沉

我獨坐等候妳的愛

Tamsui River! My Lover!

When I was in Kaohsiung city twelve years ago.
I read love poems beside Love River
Twelve years later
I have crossed Love Bridge
and read love poem on Tamsui River.
Oh Tamsui River! You are my lover!
I have carried love from Yamuna River
Please accept me! Accept my love!
I don't have any assets
Neither have any stuff to give you
Buit I have a pure heart of love
Where lots of sorrows and tears reside
That I can only share with you!

It has taken twelve years to come to you!

At the tranquil time of dusk...
When birds are flying back home
When the Sun is about to set

It is passing through air
